Quick post: Day trip to Clacton

My parents and brother were going to Clacton for the day, so I decided to go along.

Being at university right in the center of England has made me miss the coast. There is nothing quite like seeing the sea and feeling the breeze on your skin. I had never been to Clacton before, but I remember in primary school that everyone and there dog seemed to go there to visit relatives. This is not an odd thing as I live pretty much on border of Hertfordshire, Essex and London so it is a matter of an hour ish drive. We always went to the North Norfolk coast as my mum came from there or Southend because why not.

But anyway, Clacton is exactly what you would imagine from an English coast, except it is actually a sandy beach. The sea was right in when we visited and it was a beautiful spring day (but it was veru windy so naturally I got cold).

The best thing about any visit to the coast is walking along the front and I did. Before hitting the amusements of course.

The whole visit for me was relaxing and cleansing. Dragging me out of the industrial wasteland I have been inhabiting for the past few months. Furthermore, it was just what I needed before I sit on a plane for eight hours tomorrow.

As for the two penny falls, my 70 pence went very far haha!

Do you just ever have a day out that makes you feel refreshed?

I hope you are having an amazing day, thank you so much for reading.
