Product Review: NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation

On my last day in New York (last May) my mum convinced me that if I still had the dollars I might as well buy the foundation I wanted, so I did.

I had read very mixed reviews on various different blogs about the NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation I was in two minds about buying it. My biggest fear was that it would cling to any dry skin or eczema on my face, however I have found that luckily this does not happen to me. 

Before using any foundation, not just this one, I wash my face and moisturise then use either my No7 or Seventeen skin mattifying primer then apply the NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation in the shade Mont Blanc with my Real Techniques buffing brush.

This foundation does take a while to 'work into' the skin and remove all the little brush lines, but once all blended in I find this foundation stays put all day and makes my skin look incredibly healthy and luminous (as it says on the label).

As for the packaging I think it looks so nice on my cabinet in a rectangular frosted bottle and it does come with a pump.

As this is the most I have ever spent on foundation it was a gamble, but I do feel it payed off. I don't use this foundation every day and reserve it for special events. I am so glad I bought this though.
