I made orange brownies

After being home for a few days of course I would end up baking something, and this time I decided to bake some orange brownies.

I just love baking, it really does de-stress me. Such a shame it's usually something not healthy produced at the end. But after my boyfriend wanted to go out and buy a cake after Sunday dinner, my mum suggested I bake some brownies from a recipe that she saw. Of course I agreed.

Of all the recipes for brownies I have ever used this is by far the easiest so even if you are a beginner baker I would recommend giving this a go and reap the benefits.

MAKES 9
Ingredients:
150g Plain Chocolate (Broken)
125g Butter
150g Light muscovado sugar
1 tsp Vanilla extract
2 Mandarins (Zest)
2 Eggs (Beaten)
125g Self-raising flour

STEP 1: Preheat the Oven to 165/170 Degrees Celsius
STEP 2: Grease a 20 cm square cake tin and line with greaseproof paper
STEP 3: Melt the chocolate and butter with 2tbsp of water in a sausepan
STEP 4: Leave chocolate mixture to cool slightly then mix in the sugar, vanilla, zest and eggs
STEP 5: Fold in the flour with a pinch of salt
STEP 6: Pour into a lined tin
STEP 7: Bake for 25 - 30 mins until risen and firm - should be gooey in the center
STEP 8: Cool in tin, cut then enjoy!

Hope you enjoy this recipe, please let me know if you bake these.
