February Favorites

So after a month of not blogging at all, which I am extremely disappointed in myself about, I am finally here with a post.
One of the main reasons as to why I haven't posted anything is that I just can't seem to take good photo. Trying to compose a decent background in my university room is impossible and the lighting has been so bad that most days I can't even attempt to take any pictures because I know it will turn out so badly.
Nonetheless, I really want to make my blog something I am proud of, so even though I'm not 100% happy with the images, I am going to post this really late.

Firstly is the Phil Smith Total Treat Argan Oil Cream.

I did buy this in the summer whist I was shopping in Sainsbury's as I had heard so many people raving about using Argan Oil in their hair. As I have red hair at the moment, it obvious I dye it  every couple of months so at every oppetunity I get I love to give my hair something really moisturizing. This product did not diaspoint and has continued to become more and more useful. It is such a nice rich texture so you don’t need much of it. I most commonly use this when I just have got out of the shower before brushing my hair. It leaves my hair more healthy looking and reduces frizz which is amazing. Perhaps the best thing about this product is the smell, oh my goodness it smells so good, it is sweet and leaves the faintest smell on the hair which is great. The only issue I have with this product is the hole in which it comes out is very small so can get clogged and mean the product comes out very slowly, but other than that I really cannot complain!

Next, The Clinique rinse-off foaming cleanser

I adore this product. Like with the argan oil cream, I have had this a while but didn’t always get on with it feeling it had a drying effect. As winter has been going on my skin has got more and more dry and often flaky so I need something thick that will properly and deep clean my skin. I only use this product a few times a week as it is quite rich and use it either after I have removed my make up or in the morning before I apply my make up, as soon as I have patted my skin dry I do apply a thick emollient moisturizer but that is something I always do now, not just because of the Clinique face wash and honestly my skin is so much healthier now.

Soap and Glory Orangeasm Shower Gel

Oh my goodness this is amazing! I suffer from sensitive and dry skin with breakouts of eczema which is not fun and often means I have to use unfragranced products, but no, I can use this product and it leaves my skin amazingly soft and my skin does not react to it one bit even though I have used it every day since I got it. I also love the dispenser as it means that I can leave it on the side of the bath and pump it on to my hand that is only a bonus.

A break from beauty now, the Blackcurrant and Forest Plum Candle from Primark (£2)

This was an absolute whim for me as I walked through the Home section of Primark I smelt this beautiful candle and knew I had to buy it. It smells so good even when not lit. When I went home for the weekend and returned the candle was so fragrant rather than smelling stagnant air (yucky) which I am usually greeted with, the room smelt exactly like this candle. It says 30 hours burning time and for only £2 is an absolute bargain!

What did you love through February? Have you ever had a product for a while and rediscovered how amazing it is?

Thanks for sticking with me, normal blog posts will resume I hope!
